Teas are a great way to ease pain and heal the body. There are many teas out there, which are mostly herbal and caffeine free and each one can do wonders .
Today I will focus on Chamomile Teas. Chamomile Tea is a great way to ease body aches and pains. Chamomile dates right back to the Roman times, and the use of, to ease pain, they found it worked then, so why not now. Well I'll tell you why not now.
Most teas back then were either picked fresh and used quite quickly, some were transported, but still quite fresh. In other words, they were of their original strength and healing properties were in tact. While Chamomile Teas are still worth the try for aches and pains of the body, you would do better to find it a fresh as possible.
When you buy them in the packages in the stores, they have been refined almost to the point of uselessness. Look for a Natural store, Herbal remedy store or a grocery store that sells the leaves rather than the bags. As well the bags have usually been bleached and that is not good for you either. Even though, they still can be a relaxing drink.
Chamomile Tea still had great healing properties which range from aches and pains to gastrointestinal inflammation.
To use the tea properly drink 3 or 4 cups of freshly prepared tea daily for a period of several weeks. For the gastrointestinal inflammation and/or menstrual cramps a tincture is a better way to go because the natural healing properties in the tea are that much greater.
Please use with caution as with anything , herbal teas can react differently with everyone, for instance, if you have ragweed allergies, even some allergies to others of the daisy family, you should not use Chamomile as it may aggrivate the allergies. Also, please consult a doctor for anything before you start a herbal remedy.
For now, sit back , relax, have a Chamomile Tea and let the tea do its work!
