MEMORY LOSS
We all have a moment when we forget something during the day. Usually it's something simple, such as our keys. Day to day living can get to us at times, we put it off to stress, sometimes we decide that we are just plain loosing it! When in fact its our diet! You are what you eat is the saying and it is more true than we realize. Over processed foods, fast foods, grab and go foods, we simply don't get the nutrients our body's need to combat daily living and be healthy at the same time.
Now some tips for enhancing our memories, and please what ever you do don't use those energy drinks, they do more damage than good.
Fruits , vegetables and nuts, spinach, blueberries, salmon, mackerel, and yes eggs! Garlic, cinnamon, apples, curry, tea, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, and fish. These are all so called "brain foods".
Each one has a specific thing within the food that helps our memories to work properly. I will give examples instead of listing each one, because that would just overwhelm you and I.
Blueberries, for example, they contain photchemicals called anthocyanins, which is what gives them their blue hue. These act as a strong antioxidant and according to studies improve age-related deficits in neuronal signaling, in other words, it helps you to think clearer.
Fish, the best brain food out there. Now I know there are worries about the mercury in some types of fish, but if you are careful to watch where the fish comes from, try to keep to Canadian, Alaskan, and U.S. caught fish, the others are the worry for mercury.
Fish have a tremendous amount of fats, healthy ones, that not only benefit your diet, but help your brain to work at its best.
Always supplement your diet with a multivitamin/mineral, because the brain is so complex that proper care and feeding remain a bit mysterious, just for added insurance take your multi-vitamins!
So have a Garlic, cinnamon, fish, blueberry shake and it'll all be good........just kidding, yuck!
Supplement your diet with the proper foods and watch your memory improve daily!
