RELIEVE STRESS AND CALM ANXIETY--(Herbal Remedies) I don't think there is one adult, or maybe even student or child out there who hasn't suffered from stress or anxiety in one form or another. Christmas is the absolute worst time for Stress. We all live fast paced lives and sometime the demands of being a mother/father, student or even a child feeling the stresses of life, can cause us problems. Money, at this time of year, becomes a factor, as well as what to buy for whom and all those crowds. From neck pain to headaches to anxiety and panic attacks, lack of sleep etc...I probably could make a very long list, but that would just stress me out.... One of the best ways to reduce stress is with a proper breathing technique. Now I know most of you out there are saying, yeah, I've tried it , it doesn't work and I say you may be right, but I said the same thing until I did it right. It takes some self training and patience, but when done often it becomes second nature. The best breathing exercise is simply this , no matter where you are, you can do this. Breathe in for a count of 5, the breath should come deep from your abdominal area and fill your lungs in through your nose. Then hold for a count of five, 10 would be better, but make sure you don't pass out, then let it out slowly through your mouth. Repeat this as many times as you like, but don't hyperventilate (that is feel dizzy and can't catch your breath) Now when we are stressed we don't breathe right, our breaths become shorter and don't help us to relax. Also when the breaths are shorter your body isn't lacking oxygen at that time you are lacking carbon dioxide. So when you hold your breath, the more carbon dioxide your body is holding and this calms you down and relaxes you. You see, its not too hard and it can do wonders for your body and mind!
Try to have a stress free Holiday Season!
Liquorice, Glycyrrhiza glabra, is a purple and white flowering perennial, native of the Mediterranean region and central and southwest Asia. It is cultivated
for the sweet taproot that grows to a depth of four feet (1.2 m).
The greatest bladder infection cure!
You can get it at a health food store or online from several different places.
It is a sugar that your body can't really digest so it goes directly into your urinary tract (Kidneys/bladder/the works) and the bacteria causing the UTI attaches itself to the sugar rather than your body and flushes the bacteria out the next time you urinate.
Some people have re-ccuring UTI's , but since since this cure, it is no longer a painful problem.
D-mannose will work for about 90% of bladder infections out there (because not all UTI's are caused by bacteria)so if you have a bladder infection, this will probably work for you.
It's helped many people and it can help you too.
D-mannose is about $10.00, and if you feel a bladder infection coming, just take one a day for a few days and that's it!
Google D-mannose for better information. You won't regret it!

NATURAL CURES-BAKING SODA
I have talked about baking soda as a great home remedy for heartburn, but there are so many other uses!
Baking soda, is a fungus eliminator!
Did you know that? Most people don't. You can use it for foot fungus, nail fungus, rinse your mouth with it for any kind of mouth fungus, such as thrush.
Use as a paste for sunburns, exzema, psoryisis, and other skin conditions.
It has many uses, but the absolute most amazing one ever!...............................
Go onto YouTube and look up Cancer is a fungus, there is a doctor using baking soda to rid people of cancer, because he believes Cancer is a fungus. He has a book out and he has already treated people with this non invasive, no chemo-therapy, cured within a short amount of time, bicarbonate soda treatment.....................ITS AMAZING! Check it out!
Something to think about!
HONEY LETS TALK ABOUT HONEY (Herbal Remedies)
They talk about the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees.........but lets talk about what the bees make and how it can help us.
Honey is a great all natural sweetener! Most of us use refined sugar to sweeten our coffee, cookies, cakes and so on. Refined sugar is not good for us, most of us know this, but we use it because its cheap and widely available to us. This type of sugar can cause all sorts of bad things to our bodys, including weight gain and diabetes. If you want a healthier choice try honey, the bees have already done all the work for us. They made it, they filter out environmental toxins and we just package it. As a sweetener you want to use it sparingly though, honey is sweeter than other sugars, so you need less, also it does carry more calories than refined sugar. So you can use less and not gain the weight.
You can also use Honey for a relaxing bath, put about 2 oz of honey in with some lavender oil in with your bath, and relax and enjoy.
Honey can be used for dressing wounds and releif of hay fever, asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory ailments. Its a great household remedy!
I want to warn you of this, do not give unpasteurized honey to infants. It has a kind of bacteria that can be very dangerous to those younger than one year old!
Bee smart, honey is helpful, but Bee careful with the young ones!

HEARTBURN
The pain of heartburn is nothing to burp at. Anyone who has had it knows how awful it feels and how difficult it can be to get rid of. There are many treatments on the market, in a drug store, corner store, just about anywhere, you'll find ant-acids.
I have a simple method for you, now it's not for chronic acid reflux disease or recurrent heartburn..
It is for the simple, damn I ate to much, or my goodness that was spicy, or grandma's made with lard cookies treatment.
It is simply baking soda! Yes I said Baking Soda!
You put some into a glass, usually a couple of tea spoons full, mix with water, enough to get it down without it being a paste and drink it.
You must follow it though with a tall glass of warm water, this will help the baking soda to work, then wait about 5 min. You should start to burp about now. Please follow with a couple of more glasses of water, be it cold warm doesn't matter, the more water, the better for your system. Repeat if the heartburn doesn't go away, give it at least 20 min.
If the heartburn is strong at the time, just add more baking soda than the 2 tea spoons at the start.
This works so well, you'll be heartburn free, until the next omg meal!
Best thing though, eat well, not too much and you won't need this treatment at all,
but you know we all do it then and again..........
Here's to the best burp you have ever had ahhhhh!

Having a new baby is both a blessing and lots of hard work and worry. New problems can creep up at any time. Running to the doctor for every thing that may ail a baby can keep you hopping.
Minor things such as teething and diaper rash can be helped and cured at home. REMEMBER THOUGH IF YOU ARE NOT SURE AT ANY TIME CONSULT A DOCTOR.
Today I'm going to focus on Diaper Rash. I have 3 children and have been through thousands of diapers in my time as a Mom, and diaper rash comes with the territory.
I found many things helpfull in this situation and deciding what works better for your baby can be trial and error, but here are some tips.
First of all diaper rash can be caused by various things. Not wiping the baby well enough after a diaper change. You must clean the baby's bottom area every time you change a diaper, whether or not you think its warranted or not. Some babys are sensitive to baby wipes, so if this is the case use a clean cloth and warm water with a mild soap.
Change the baby often, and don't let the baby sit in a wet or soiled diaper for a long period of time, this will surely cause problems.
Most of us know this already , so onto the diaper rash itself.
If your baby develops a rash, remember that it is very irritating to the baby and you, when the baby cries constantly in pain.
Try not to irritate the rash, but clean it regularly. Creams and powders will just clog the pores and make the rash worse, and even prolong the problem. Some doctors will prescribe an over the counter cream, if so remember to use it sparingly and spread it well, or the pores will clog and the rash will worsen.
Some things to do at home, if you can get out , some herbal remedies are Plantain, in oil form can be soothing and healing to the skin, and will surely heal the rash quickly.
Other home remedies are corn starch. Corn starch is used in place of baby power to act as a barrier between the baby's bottom and the diaper. Use it sparingly and Do Not shake, any powder whether it be baby powder or corn starch , the baby will inhale , and this can be detrimental to your baby's health. Instead , pour some into the clean diaper, away from the baby and then put the diaper on the baby. Remember to keep the area clean without irritating the rash, so don't wipe so hard, dont use baby wipes until the rash is gone, use a warm cloth and a mild soap. If the soap still irritates the baby, find one without dyes or sents, this will help immensly.
Most important, Moms or Dads, don't panic. The rash will go away if cared for properly, but consult a Doctor always, if the rash lasts too long, or gets very red , and looks like its spreading.
Use common sense, we all have that gut feeling. Home remedies can save us money and time, but our baby's health is important and not to be looked over.
Keeping the bottom area clean on a constant basis, usually will prevent a diaper rash, but some babys have strong urine or stools that can start a rash up.
Be patient, your baby cries for a reason, either hungry, tired, wet, or in pain. You can read your baby, tend to the baby and stay calm and you and your baby can get through this together.
Thanks and goo goo to all the babys out there.
